ITU Industrial Design Department carries out extensive activities to satisfy the need of the Turkish industry for concrete design solutions, such as national conferences and seminars and to build the constructive relations with the industry.
Hand in hand together with the Turkish Industry
In 2003, for the first time in Turkey, an university-industry collaboration for SME's was realized with ISO (Istanbul Chamber of Industry). These projects with SME's are repeated every year by the collaboration with ISO.
İstanbul Sanayi Odası (İSO)
It's one of the prior aims of ITU Department of Industrial Product Design to collaborate with firms and foundations who have the design and product development in their agenda by means of education, research and practice. Since 1993, the department collaborated with various firms, foundations and institutes and carried out activities, educational and research projects.
